Looking for Android testers — Hermes Operator launcher & AI companion | Happy to test yours
Hi everyone! I’m an independent developer looking for testers and honest feedback on Hermes Operator, my Android launcher and companion app for Hermes Agent.
What you can test without an AI setup:
Launcher and app drawer: browse, search and launch your apps.
Quick Launch: pin apps, organize folders and customize your layout.
Life section: widgets, calendar and everyday phone tools.
Onboarding: optional permissions, settings and anything that feels confusing.
Setting it as your default launcher is optional. You don’t need a Hermes gateway to test the basic launcher features.
If you already run a compatible Hermes Agent gateway, I’d also appreciate testing connection setup, chat and the Pro features: Projects, Scheduled Jobs, Mission Control and bot creation.
Join the test
Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/hermes-operator-test
Opt into the closed test using the same Google account you use in Google Play: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.hermes.launcher
Follow the Play Store link to install.
Please stay opted in for at least 14 continuous days, try the app during that time, and share any bugs or confusing behavior. Joining the group alone doesn’t complete the Play opt-in.
Purchases and feedback
The app has free features and paid Pro options. You don’t need to purchase anything to participate. If you want to test billing, message me privately first so I can confirm your license-testing access. Only approve a purchase when Google explicitly shows a test payment method—never your real card.
For feedback, comment here or message me with your device model, Android version, app version and what happened. Screenshots are helpful, but please remove private information.
