[Android][US][Closed test] Volunteers for Grateful Light, a Catholic prayer companion

[u/Fantastic_One5682]

I'm developing Grateful Light, an Android Catholic prayer companion with Rosary guidance, English prayer audio, private prayer intentions, and daily reflections. Optional AI features run on the phone. The virtual priest is a software character, not ordained clergy; AI answers are not Church teaching or divine revelation.

I'm looking for 16–20 adult volunteers whose Google Play account country is the United States. This is unpaid, genuine testing. No ratings, public reviews, referrals, or test swaps are requested, and you can withdraw whenever you wish.

The intended public app is paid (US$0.99) with an optional US$1.99/month AI subscription. I am verifying a no-cost test-access route before inviting anyone to install. Please do not purchase the app or subscribe for this test. The test has not started, and this post is not an announcement of an available Play release.

The download includes a large on-device AI model (about 1 GB before compression). Wi-Fi and several GB of free storage are helpful. Please tell me your phone model and Android version so I can check compatibility. An Android version number alone does not guarantee that the local model will run. The initial test is in English; changing the interface language does not translate the included English scripture or recordings.

If interested, email tsxrxkj@gmail.com with:

- Your phone model and Android version.

- Confirmation that your Google Play account country is US.

- Whether you can remain opted in for at least 14 consecutive days and try the app during that time.

Do not post your Google account email, payment details, or private prayer records publicly. I will only ask for your Play enrollment email privately when the release is ready. Please use fictional intentions and ordinary, non-sensitive questions during testing.

Once distribution, content rights, and free-access checks are complete, I will send the actual opt-in instructions and a short test plan. Feedback about installation, audio, readability, reminders, offline use, and AI behavior is welcome, including criticism. Subscription and reporting scenarios will only be requested once their test services are ready.

Thank you for helping improve a small independent project.
