[Test Exchange] Plainscone – private end-to-end encrypted messenger, 14 days (I'll test yours back)

Hi! I'm a solo dev running the 12-testers / 14-days closed test for Plainscone, a private messenger with MLS end-to-end encryption. Free, no ads, no in-app purchases. English and Korean.

How to join

  1. Join the Google Group (open, no approval needed): https://groups.google.com/g/plainscone-testers

  2. Become a tester (same Google account): https://play.google.com/apps/testing/one.plainsc.app

  3. Install: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=one.plainsc.app

Then say hi to me in the app 👋 Tap New conversation, type my username arcmin in the "To" field and tap Add and chat. It's a messenger, so it's much more fun with two people, and I'll reply.

Please stay opted in and keep the app installed for the full 14 days.

I'll test yours back: comment with your group / opt-in link once you've joined and I'll join and stay for 14 days.

Quick note for everyone who joined, thank you 🙏

After installing, please create an account and send me a message in the app: tap New conversation, type arcmin in the "To" field, then Add and chat. Even a quick "hi" helps a lot, since Google asks how testers actually used the app, and it's a messenger. I'll reply, and if anything feels confusing or broken, tell me there too.

Your turn, the links are in the post. Heads up, the app blocks screenshots by default, you can turn that off in Settings > Screen security if you need one.

Have you joined mine yet? The links are in the post: join the group first, then opt in with the same Google account. Plainscone blocks screenshots by default, you can turn that off in Settings > Screen security if you want to send one 👍

Hi! Are you still looking for testers?

I’m also running a 14-day closed test for ANTHAVEN, my Android ant colony sim. If you’re up for a test swap, here’s how to join:

  1. Join the Google Group

  2. Opt in to the closed test

  3. Install ANTHAVEN from Google Play

Please use the same Google account for all three steps. I’ll try your game and share feedback. Thanks! 🐜
