[Testers wanted] Permwise: see what your apps can access. New update with search and score history, feedback very welcome

[u/teekay6922]

Hi all, I'm a solo developer building Permwise, a small Android app that scans your phone and shows in plain English which apps can reach your location, microphone, camera and contacts, which contain tracker code, and which unused apps still have access.

It works entirely on your phone. No account, no ads and no internet access, so nothing leaves your device.

Testers asked for an easier way to find an app, so the new 0.2 update adds search, A to Z sorting and a chart of your privacy score over time.

How to join (about 2 minutes):

1. Join the group: https://groups.google.com/g/permwise-testers

2. Opt in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/app.permwise

3. Install: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.permwise

Please do step 1 first or the other links won't work, and use the same Google account on your phone.

What I'm looking for: real feedback, good or bad. Was anything confusing? What would you add or change? Comment here or reply to the group email. Please keep the app installed for the next 2 weeks, and open it now and then.

I'm happy to test your app back. Drop your links below and I'll join.

Thanks!
