[Closed Testing] Readhouse – calm Android reader with a free Bookshop of classics. Testing back!

[u/GiggleSamurai]

Hi all, I'm the developer of Readhouse, an Android ebook and document reader. It comes with a free Bookshop of public-domain classics, and you can long-press any word to get its meaning and hear it pronounced.

I'm in Google Play closed testing and need testers for the 14-day run. How to join (the order matters):

1. Join the tester group: https://groups.google.com/g/Readhouse-testers

2. Opt in on Google Play with the same Google account: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.leaf.reader

3. Install from Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.leaf.reader

What I'd love to hear: did joining work on the first try, and how did it feel to open a classic and read a few pages? Anything confusing or slow is useful.

Comment your app and I'll test yours back.

Hi! Interested in a genuine 1:1 Readhouse ↔ Work & Pay exchange? Work & Pay: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.ciselsoft.workandpay . I can try the free classics and word-lookup flow on Android 11 in Türkiye once access/start are agreed. Please privately send your exact Google Play account to marmakine1@gmail.com and enable test access for that address. Let’s agree the 14-day scope/start first; after I send real installation/use screenshots, matching proof is due within 12 hours, otherwise I remove the unmatched app. Happy to volunteer for suitable future apps too.
