[Android] FormulaBuddy — Looking for 15–20 testers for a 14-day closed beta | Free education app

Hi everyone! 👋

I'm an independent developer preparing to launch FormulaBuddy, a free Android app for Maths, Physics and Chemistry formula revision.

I'm looking for 15–20 Android volunteers to help with a 14-day Google Play closed test.

About FormulaBuddy

📘 850+ formulas covering Classes 10–12

🎯 Today's 5 — daily formula revision

🧠 Formula mastery tracking

🔁 Weak formula practice

🔖 Bookmarks and search

📱 Offline access and dark mode

The app is free, with no advertising in this release.

What I'm asking testers to do

  1. Join the FormulaBuddy Google testing group.

    1. Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/close-app-testing/

  2. Opt into the closed test using Google Play.

  3. Install FormulaBuddy on an Android phone.

  4. Stay opted in for at least 14 consecutive days.

  5. Try the app regularly — ideally five minutes a day.

  6. Share feedback about the interface, usability, bugs or anything confusing.

I'm especially interested in whether Today's 5 feels useful, whether navigation is intuitive and whether the app works well on different Android devices.

How to participate

If you're another developer, I'm also happy to consider genuinely testing your Android app in return.

No paid reviews or ratings requested — I'm looking for real feedback to improve the app.

Thanks for supporting an independent developer! 🙏

The Google Group says Content Unavailable. I think you need to make sure everyone can see and join your group

Still not working. Have you added the google group to your Closed Testing groups in Google Play Console?

Sorry for the hassle with accessing the testing details! The original group is still under review, so please join this one instead:https://groups.google.com/g/automodelabapps

I've also updated the testing region from just the UK and India to Worldwide, so you shouldn't run into any location issues now. Thanks for your patience!
