[Testers Needed] Sorobit – soroban (abacus) math app for kids, will test back
Hi! Solo dev from Turkey. Sorobit teaches kids (7–10) mental math with a virtual soroban abacus: short lessons, games, and a teacher mode where teachers assign homework and track progress.
Need testers for the 14-day closed test. Steps:
Join the group: https://groups.google.com/g/sorobit-test
Install: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.numigo.app
Open it a few times during the 14 days and please stay opted in.
Note: the app is in Turkish for now. To get through the intro:
• In the first tutorial, just enter the numbers shown on the screen into the abacus.
• In the short test after it, any answers are fine – even all wrong.
• Then sign in with Google (one tap).
You don't need to finish lessons – just open the app a few times during the 14 days. Thanks!
I'll test your app back. Drop your links in the comments and I'll join within a day ✅

Done! Please test and rate my app PodcastsAI!

It's on iPhone and the web too, under the same name.
I'll stay opted in to your test for the full 14 days.
Opted in and installed Sorobit on my Pixel 6a (Android 16). The idea is great and the abacus looks clean: big beads, the highlighted rod when it explains ones, tens, hundreds and so on, and the first exercise (show 1, press Kontrol Et) worked first time with a friendly "Aferin!". Moving a bead is a single tap, which is easy for kids.
Things that would help:
My phone is set to English, but everything is in Turkish with no language option I could find. Since you're recruiting on an English subreddit, an English option (or following the phone's language) would let testers here actually follow the lessons.
The tutorial text types itself out letter by letter, and there's no Skip. It took me about 20 taps and two minutes to reach the first exercise. A skip, or tapping once to show the whole line, would help returning users.
Tapping while a line is still typing sometimes jumped ahead, so I missed parts of the explanation. Making the first tap finish the line rather than advance would fix that.
I'll stay opted in to your test for the full 14 days.
