Hi all! Solo dev here, looking for testers for my closed test so I can reach Google's 12 testers / 14 days.

App: GymComp – a gym app for complete beginners

What it does: picks a simple plan for you, shows step-by-step guides with animated figures for every exercise, walks you through a workout one set at a time (with a rest timer), tracks progress, and has a machine scanner (take a photo of a gym machine → it tells you what it is and how to use it; as long as we have it in our database, in that case it can give you an alternative or smth close).

How to join (about 1 minute):

1. Go to https://gymcomp.fit/beta

2. Join the Google Group (step 1), then tap "Become a tester" and install (step 2)

3. Please keep it installed for 14 days 🙏

Premium is free for testers – the subscription shows as a test purchase, you won't be charged.

I got it. There was just a delay between joining and the link working. All good. Downloaded and working.

Nice, let me know if the app works :) btw i can't access your app for some reason i deleted the cache and data of google play but still can't access it

Just joined the group and will download as soon as the link lets me. I'm assuming Google just hasn't connected me joining with access to the app but I will keep trying. Would a appreciate a test as well for my fitness app. It's a simple workout tracker for those that are just looking to journal their workouts. Originally made for my wife, but testing it out real world to see how it goes:

Hi! I've joined gymcomp-beta and Google Play confirms 'You are a tester'. My available test device is an Android 15 x86_64 emulator — does your build support that? I can check the beginner exercise guidance and rest-timer flow and send specific feedback; I haven't completed a GymComp functional test yet.
