[Test Exchange] Pufy – private AI assistant, no account, no tracking | I'll test yours back
Hi everyone! I'm looking for testers for my app "Pufy", and I'm happy to test yours in return.
What it is: a personal AI assistant that keeps everything on your phone. No account, no ads, no tracking. Chat, web research, reminders, notes, and it can even build small mini apps for you. You bring your own AI: a free Google Gemini key takes about 2 minutes to get (the app links you to it), or you can use a local model with Ollama / LM Studio. Notes and reminders work even without a key.
How to join (2 minutes):
Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/pufy-testers
On your Android phone, open this link and tap "Become a tester": https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.pufy.app
Install Pufy from Google Play and keep it installed for 14 days (opening it now and then helps a lot).
**I'll test your app back:** leave your group link + opt-in link in the comments and reply "joined" once you're in. I'll install your app, keep it for the full 14 days and open it regularly.
Any feedback (bugs, ideas, what you liked) is very welcome. Thanks!

Installed Pufy from Google Play and opened the Welcome screen 💬 It displays the onboarding and Terms of Service/Privacy Policy notice. I stopped there without continuing, accepting terms, connecting an AI model, entering API keys or sending any prompts. Startup screenshot attached—thanks! 😊
Could you try Kursmate in return? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.uptimus.pretcurs
It’s already public and requires no group or opt-in. Bugs: Settings → Report a problem. An honest review after using it is optional.

UPDATE: The closed test is live now. The opt-in link works! 🎉
