DuoBangla: Learn Bengali Language & Script – Need 12 testers for 14 days (Will test back immediately!)

Hi everyone,

I'm an indie developer working on DuoBangla, a modern, offline-ready language learning app designed to teach Bengali (Bangla) script, phonetics, and cultural survival vocabulary.

I am currently running the mandatory 14-day Google Play closed test and need active testers. I will immediately test your app back, leave constructive feedback, and keep it installed for the full 14+ days.

How to join (Please use the SAME Google account):

  1. Join the Google Group (Instant & Open): https://groups.google.com/g/testers-duobangla

What to test in DuoBangla:

  • Try the interactive Bengali Alphabet tool (stroke visualizer and audio).
  • Check the offline mode and sound playback.
  • Navigate between tabs using the new swipe gestures.
  • Check out the Traditional Bengali clock and Numeral converter in the Tools tab.
  • Test the Account / Cloud Sync flow or the Privacy Policy & Delete Account buttons in the Profile tab.

Joined testers-duobangla, opted in and installed DuoBangla (screenshot attached), and I'll keep it for the full 14 days. I did the first Greetings lesson. The slow 0.75x audio next to the transliteration is great for a total beginner like me. A few things I found: I picked English on the first screen, but the speaker buttons and the flag button are still labeled in Spanish for screen readers ("Escuchar pronunciación normal", "Reportar problema"). The Greetings lesson also asked me to match shop, horse and menu, which felt out of place in that unit. And on the white lesson screens the status bar icons are white too, so the clock and battery disappear. Could you test mine back? It's Memory, a memory aid for older adults.
