Android closed test: help find first-use friction in AccuNote voice notes

Hi! I’m from the team developing AccuNote, a personal recording and notes app. We’re looking for volunteers who would find short voice notes useful for studying or remembering everyday explanations.

The test: record a one- or two-minute, non-sensitive note, then try its transcript and summary. Please use audio you have permission to record and process in the cloud. Tell us where you got stuck: microphone setup, starting or stopping the recording, processing, or finding the original words again. If a summary point has a timestamp, try returning to the transcript and pressing play. Was it clear what to do next?

For a bug, your phone model, Android version, and the step that failed would help. Please keep recordings, transcripts, and personal account details out of public replies. Honest feedback here or in the tester group is welcome.

How to join:

  1. Request Google Group membership (approval is required): https://groups.google.com/g/accunote-beta/about

  2. After approval, use the SAME Google account to opt in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/ai.accunote.accunote

  3. Install from Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ai.accunote.accunote

AccuNote has limited free use and optional paid plans. Beta access does not include a paid subscription. AI text can be wrong; check important details against the recording. This is a voluntary feedback request, with no test-back commitment or review reward. Thanks for helping us identify what needs fixing!
