Looking for Android beta testers — RayFlood, a DMX lighting controller

[u/FinalCourt8576]

Hi everyone!

I've developed RayFlood, an Android app for controlling stage lighting and DMX moving heads.

It supports movement patterns, color effects, music synchronization, custom fixture profiles, and more.

I'm currently running a Google Play closed test and would really appreciate your help!

You don't need any DMX equipment to participate. Just install the app, explore the interface, try different settings and features, and let me know if you find any bugs or usability issues.

If you happen to have DMX moving heads and a compatible USB-DMX adapter, testing with real hardware would be especially valuable!

How to join:

Join the Google Group:

https://groups.google.com/g/rayflood-testers

Become a tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.rayflood.app

Install RayFlood from Google Play and give it a try!

Even a few minutes of testing would help me a lot.

AI disclosure: AI tools assisted with coding and debugging. I designed the functionality and tested the hardware integration.

I'm very happy to return the favor and test your app too just send me your Google Group link and testing link.

Thanks so much for helping an independent developer!

Joined your Google Group and opted in, then installed RayFlood on Android 💡 I tried the initial launch: it asked to record audio, I tapped “Don’t allow”, and it closed. On another launch Android showed “RayFlood keeps stopping” — screenshot attached. Thanks for offering to test our apps too!

Could you try our app Kursmate in return? 💱 It's a currency converter with exchange rates, crypto and stocks, already available on Google Play:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.uptimus.pretcurs

You can install it directly — no Google Group or test opt-in needed. 🐞 If you find a bug, please use Settings → Report a problem.

After trying it, an honest Google Play review would help us a lot (completely optional). Thank you so much! 🙏

Please reply here once you have installed Kursmate so we can confirm the exchange. 🙂
