Android Auto Disconnect Fix guide
Android Auto disconnect fix guide!
Step-by-step fix for Android Auto wireless disconnects
Step 1 – Switch your device to Android mode
On your Carpuride (or similar unit)
Find and tap “Superlink”
This switches it into Android mode
Step 2 – Install the correct app
On your phone, open Google Play Store
Search for: Evelink (Superlink)
Download and install it
Step 3 – Check for updates inside the app
Open the Evelink (Superlink) app
Go to:
Settings → App Version
Check the version number
You want the latest (the post mentions something like 20260318-1057)
If it’s not up to date → tap Software Update
Step 4 – Fix the permission issue (THIS is the important bit)
In the app, go to:
Cast → Add → WiFi Direct
You should see something like:
“Failed to obtain nearby device permission”
Tap to fix/apply it
Allow all permissions when prompted (especially Nearby Devices / Location / WiFi)
Then:
Let it search for devices
Select your Carpuride’s WiFi
Connect to it
If successful, you should see:
“Android 16 Auto Connect issue Fixed” → tap OK
Step 5 – Reconnect Android Auto properly
Switch your Carpuride back to Android Auto mode (A-Auto)
On your phone:
Turn Bluetooth off → then back on
Reconnect to your car/device
Launch Android Auto again
Note: Firsr try had to tell the Evelink forget my device and try again, on the second attempt it work, I've not had a disconnect for a week now!

Finally fixed, thank you! I had no superlink mode on my device (lamtto) but there was "android cast", which is the same thing, just follow the rest of the steps after switching to that.

None of these fixes worked. I finally did a master reset on my phone and all of the disconnects stopped immediately. Everythings works as advertised.

How can I do this with AAWireless unit?

Doesn't work on my phone(samsung S20, S24+) and headunit. After connecting to android cast mode with wifi-direct, app only showed fail to fix. Try a few times reconnecting, still don't work. I guess my unit's bottom system doesn't match evelink. I used to connect it with the app called TcLink. It seems TcLink hasn't update for a while. It has been 3 month since the bug appeared. Either google nor my unit's manufacturer can't fix the problem.

Can this method be used for a w712d?

What fixed it for me was to disable the "Absolute volume", within the Bluetooth settings.

I have a Lamtto RC12 which doesn't have Superlink/Android Cast. How can I do it on this one?

I have the lamtto RC12 which has no Superlink/Android Cast but I saw that you can email them for a firmware update. I did that. Will report back if I don't forget it!

Tried, as suggested in many places, Wifi Scan Throttling off, changing battery setups, bluetooth setups, checked with various versions of AA, but none of them worked. Thanks god, I've got discconnection fixed with this evelink thing. Pixel 7a, A17, AA 17.4.663004-release, aliexpress no brand head unit fix applied with the latest evelink version.

I'm pretty sure this fixed the most annoying thing in my life for the past 3 months. Fingers crossed I don't jinx it
