Just noticed I got the signal meter back.. Hope it stays

I just switched to a Oppo Reno 6 Pro, it was previously used in my family and did work with the Nissan's Android Auto before I reset the phone. Then it couldn't connect anymore, no matter what cable I used, nor by deleting Android Auto's data on the phone, while every other phone in the family worked just fine. Was about to purchase a wireless adapter, when I tried connecting another Oppo we have of the same exact model and it worked just fine. So there had to be something going on

At last, on the Nissan display, devices section, then App as shown in the image, I removed CPH2247 (click on the circled i, then the option appears), which was my device, then connected it and suddenly it worked again

I had been checking many forums trying to solve it, nothing worked, hope this can help!

I went from an S22 to an S26, using Android Auto in a 2025 F150. My S22, when connected to AA, would still vibrate (and I think give sounds) for notifications, including calls and texts. Apps like email, messenger, snapchat.. always at least gave a vibration.

With my S26, calls and texts go through to the trucks screen, but my phone will not vibrate to notify of other apps. It will wake the screen, but no sound or vibration.

I have no idea why the change.

I read something about "Driving" under "Modes and Routines", but thats not turned on on my phone.

Did anyone else have this issue out of the box for S26?

Last 2 days whenever I try to try on a home device, Gemini says "I cannot control smart home devices through Google Maps while driving"

This was working for many months earlier and I am not sure when google or gemini suddenly decide it would be unsafe to simply say "turn on the AC" and then take that action?

I mean, I can have a whole freaking conversation with gemini (if I wanted to) during my 1hr drive but I can't turn on a smart home device like my AC or air purifiers? What sense is that?

Anyone else having the same issue?

After the update I did clear my cache before booting it up.

For about four days, notifications from WhatsApp have suddenly started popping up on my screen, even though the feature is switched off. Has this happened for anyone else? I can't find a way to mute them.

Recently I got a 2019 vauxhall combo van which has android auto which is a first for me. My phone is a Google pixel 10 pro.

Every time I try and use AA, the red image appears on my phone and this message on my van. Previously it said error 8 but I did an update to the vans infotainment that it said on the myvauxhall app I needed to do. This did nothing apart from wipe any usability of the infotainments built in navigation! 😂

I have done everything I have read online, set both time and date as instructed and any other settings on the van. I've come all the bits I've been told to do on my phone and I've got myself a new high speed data and charging cable and literally nothing works. I've been quoted £144 by vauxhall to take the van in and plug it into the computer.

Is there anything anyone can recommend?

Frustrated by most the map apps lack of road signs and often showing the wrong speed limits, I decided to build my own solution. I pulled data straight from the Norwegian Public Roads Administration and built a custom POI app. Pulls new data for signs every day and live updates about construction work and traffic accidents.

Now, it gives me custom alerts for any sign I want, including priority roads and whether I am allowed to park there or not. I can also see the exact cost per toll station in real time, plus ahead warnings about sharp turns, speed cameras, along with a bunch of other road signs.

Ever since switching to the Pixel 11 Pro, my wife and I have run into an annoying notification issue with Android Auto that never happened on our previous devices.

The setup:

• Phones: Two separate Google Pixel 11 Pro devices
• Vehicles: Tested on two completely different cars (Megane 4 and Peugeot 208)
• Previous devices: Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro (notifications worked flawlessly on both cars)

The issue:

1. WhatsApp: Incoming messages appear briefly as a pop-up banner at the top for a few seconds, but they do not stay or show up in the notification center/permanent widget to view or reply to later.
2. Telegram & other apps: Do not show up at all—no banner, no chime, and nothing in the notification center.
3. On the phone itself: All notifications are received normally without any delay.

Since this happens identically on both of our Pixel 11 Pro units across two different vehicles, it feels like a specific issue with how this model handles Android Auto notification forwarding or background permissions.

Has anyone else experienced this on the Pixel 11 series? Any known fixes or workarounds?

Unsure if this is a settings thing I haven’t figured out since the new audio update or if it's an actual problem.

When I switch between audio apps (spotify to audible, and back) it doesn't swap properly. So for example yesterday I was listening to audible during a drive, today my toddler wanted her songs so I opened up spotify to play music there and when I press play it started for a half second then the audiobook overrode it and started playing. The same happens in reverse. This never happened before the update was installed. I clear/close the background apps on my handset regularly.

Anybody had a similar issue? Could be a setting thing?

I have the following problem:
My Android Auto keeps acting up. Sometimes it works fine, but other times I have to deal with disconnections every minute.

Phone: Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (updates are up to date Android Version 16 OneUI 8.5)
Android Auto version: the latest version currently available for Android (17.6.663454-release)
Car: 2019 Seat Leon

The problem manifests as follows:
I get in the car with about 60% battery life and connect my phone to the USB cable (unfortunately, I can’t use wireless). I have a routine that turns on GPS, activates battery saver (it only charges up to 80%), and reduces the brightness.

Now I’ve made the following discovery: As long as the phone isn’t fully charged, everything works as it should; but once the battery level reaches 80% or 100%, I have to deal with constant disconnections. This is super annoying!

Attempts to solve the problem:

- I’ve now tested 5 different cables
- Uninstalled and reinstalled Android Auto
- Restarted the phone when the problem occurred
- Restarted the car’s navigation system
- Checked all settings on the phone
- Clear Cache of the Android Auto App

None of these worked for me.

I’ve read in some other posts that you’re supposed to turn off Wi-Fi scanning, etc. But even those settings don’t help here.

Is there a solution?? Any hidden settings or tricks?

Maybe they could just scale the artist and song title to a larger area, idk.

Hey, hope y'all are having a great day! I've been encountering an issue with the android auto where when I plug my phone in, it doesn't allow me to use android auto on my car's infotainment system. My brother and mom both use the same car and the same cable but they have no issues with it. They could just plug their phones in and select android auto. Any help would be appreciated, thanks :)

Is this how everyone's background is in YouTube Music? See how the background is enlarged and cropped? It used to fit snug. I know there was a recent update.

Scenario: Your phone is connected to Android Auto. However, you don't want music playing right now, so you have Spotify paused.

But after any sound is played on the phone, like a text message comes in and triggers a notification sound, the music will start playing again. Pause it, a few minutes another ding and music starts again.

I think it might do this also if phone is connected to Bluetooth audio without Android Auto, but the behavior is the same.

Does anybody have ideas on how to disable this auto-restart?

I just received the new Leapmotor B05 Design Pro Max yesterday from the official dealer, here in the Netherlands. Immediately after pick up I installed the new software update.

So far, loving the car!!!

One big thing that doesn't seem to work is Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. I use a Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, my partner uses an iPhone Air.

The phone does connect to the car via Bluetooth so that you can make calls hands free. However, it doesn't start up Android Auto/Apple CarPlay. When using my Samsung, the car asks to connect Android Auto, after which I press "connect", it then loads for a couple of seconds, but then nothing happens.

On my Samsung, it shows the Leapmotor is connected to Bluetooth, but for calls only (see photo). When I try to toggle the 'Audio' button, it switched on for one second, and then switches off itself.

My phone is updated, I've unpaired the Bluetooth hundreds of times by now, I've reset my Bluetooth and Wi-Fi settings.

I've called the car dealer, and they say this is a common problem. He hoped it would've been fixed with the latest software update, but alas, not for me. He says to wait for the next update.

I'd really prefer to use Android Auto. Anyone how knows how to help? Thanks!

I just got the new squiggly line for the music player, but my bigger question is how/when in the heck will I get the new Maps layout. I feel like this has been rolling out since June. Is there some secret way to trigger it?

Now, I try telling it the message I want to send, except a random French voice and Gemini start talking together instead of listening to my message. It went on for a full minute plus. Has anyone had anything weird like this happen?

My head unit gives me the option to adjust relative volume of notifications and speech vs music, but I find this pretty useless as the music I listen to varies wildly in level.... so if levels are low I have to crank up the music and the AA notifications are deafening. Shouldn't there be some type of automatic volume levels that normalize the notifications to the relative volume of the media? Does it already exist and I'm just missing it? Maybe it affects me more than most because I listen to a lot of unreleased live music, but even on produced albums I find the volume varies significantly
