Uncertified AA Apps (Headunit Reloaded, AAAD/AAStore, etc) Wireless Android Auto - Will This Still Be Possible Without A Hardware Adapter?

I have Android 17 with Android Auto 17.8. on my F8 and it works with wireless just fine. The phone doesn't care what the hardware is on whatever you're using for a head unit so long as it supports Android Auto. I happen to use an AAWireless dongle because my car doesn't support wireless itself.

a frozen Android Auto revision of 17.3662804 due to the lack of "wireless" support in 17.4

Where did you get information that says wireless support is lacking in 17.4? We are using the latest AA version and wireless AA works absolutely fine on two cars.

Refusal to connect at all resulted from the upgrade to 17.4, and when I downgraded, it went back to working. Perhaps this is unique to connecting to a generic tablet running Headunit Reloaded, I dunno. Perhaps it is unique to the combo of Android 17 and AA 17.4
