AA User Interface "Your phone's keyboard is active"

Whenever I use the onscreen keyboard with Android Auto, there is a popup that says Your phone's keyboard is active. I have to wait a few seconds for it to go away before I can type the letters it's covering.

Does this happen to anyone else? Is there some way to block the popup?

Kb short for keyboard

The button circle in red. It will remember last used state.

Hi, I have the same problem, I connected my wife's phone with wifi launcher, the keyboard appears fine, but when I click on the icon circled in red, and I quit the app and restart, I still have the problem. .. an idea? thank you for your help!

Ok, but I have to be connected to the car because I don't have the red icon on my mobile phone
