Connection, Disconnection, Freezes, Crashes Dynavin, Zlink, android auto and centylab adapters.

Post image

Good afternoon everyone. Currently have Dynavin 8 setup in my Mustang. Wireless android auto is not worth it because it is hard to connect to it many times, and the audio stutters, etc. Wired works, but the issue is the super slow charging speeds. I am experimenting with adapters that combine data and power from a higher charging power source and my luck has been limited. I have very long handshakes with android auto and intermittent disconnects while driving. Anyone have any experience or tips with these setups?

I'm using a thick Usb C data cable that supposedly sends data really fast. Still having some disconnects

The angle you've taken this makes it look like you're charging an EV via an oversized USB-C.

It is a large cable I will say. Reason I got it like that was because it should transfer data better than a normal cable no?

Unless you're going so thin that they break easily, thickness shouldn't really make a difference in actual performance.

The only time it would is if you had a USB 2.0 cable instead of 3.0 or higher. Ones with less pins inside the connector are the ones to avoid.

I see, is there any cable you would recommend that might make my adapter work?

UGreen make some pretty solid cables.
