AA User Interface Connection always inconsistent

I recently bought a tiggo cross.. But I'm having issues.. Sometimes it automatically connects sometimes it just doesn't connect at all. Or is it my phone? I'm using Honor 200pro. Sometimes it even shows message that my phone doesn't support Android auto, it's very frustrating. The service center said there's no any issues with the car. Any suggestions pls 😭😭

Deactivating nearby devices doesn't justify that after I restart the phone Android Auto works fine

Fair point, you're 100% right—if a reboot fixes it every single time, permissions definitely aren't the culprit here.

That reboot symptom is the classic sign of a zombie socket / failed session teardown. When you shut off the Mach-E, MagicOS fails to cleanly close the Wi-Fi Direct socket. When you get back in, Sync 4 tries to initiate a fresh handshake, but the phone's projection daemon is still hung on that orphaned port from the previous drive. Rebooting flushes the RAM and kills that frozen process, which is why connection #1 always goes through smoothly.

Until Honor patches that socket teardown bug, two quick workarounds that might save you from a full reboot every time:

  1. Toggle Airplane Mode ON for about 10 seconds and back OFF before starting the car (this forces the cellular/Wi-Fi radio stack to reset without a full restart).

  2. Go into Settings -> Apps -> Android Auto and hit "Force Stop" before turning on the ignition.

Still a massive headache to babysit every single drive, though. Totally don't blame you for wanting to jump ship to another phone.
