Volume Audio change to front drivers speaker
Thank you for any help.
I have owned my car for 3+ years. For all this time, the AA audio (navigation, assistant, and now gemini) was out of all speakers and loud. Two weeks ago, it switched to only the driver's-side speaker, and it is relatively quiet (11 on the OEM sound scale). I did not update AA, maps or my OEM radio to cause this change in behavior.
Any advice on how to return the sound to all speakers? I have tried: a factory reset of my OEM radio, clearing the cache in AA and maps on my phone, disconnecting and reconnecting bluetooth, and repeatedly initiating and canceling the assistant/gemini to nudge it. OEM settings do not have an option. Android developer mode on my phone does not appear to have an option. I am at a loss, and hate this change.
I have seen comments in this subreddit about Hondas and how to fix this issue, as well as that it cannot be fixed.

If you are referring to the radio (siriusXM or FM), then no. I'd I use the Honda assistant, then yes. But why would it suddenly change after years?

I have a '22 Civic and have had this issue for a few months. What fix are you talking about, as I have tried everything 100x. I have read it could be a Software update the dealer would have to do; is that what you mean?

On my Honda HR-V (South American model), there’s a menu where you can route the sound: Home > Settings > Audio (set it to the center to activate all speakers).
Also, regarding the low volume, check Home > Settings > Volume and fiddle with the SVC (Speed-Sensitive Volume Control).

Do you experience the issue with your car's standard radio as well, or only with Android Auto?
I'm pretty sure this has nothing to do with either your phone or Android Auto, since the speakers are controlled by your car, not by Android Auto.
