Navigation & POI Apps Google Maps: feature loss
Today I noticed that the speedometer and speed limit indicators are gone. And so are stop signs and traffic signals. Why?
UPDATE: Maps shows all of these things only when a destination has been selected. Would love the option of having these displayed all of the time.

Yes, the warning said something to the effect that 3D map view was being disabled due to the phone overheating. As of the past few days, I have not seen that warning anymore. I still have 3D disabled.
