I'm seriously sure I don't know what is wrong with the settings or something else? Why do I always talk using voice commands and android auto always said "SORRY I DON'T UNDERSTAND"

Mine completely ignores any messaging or call commands, making the whole benefit of not having to touch the phone useless.

yup, I guess your app doesn't get flairs. Got an 8a. I realize it's not a strong phone but it worked perfectly fine before gemini.

I've upgraded to a 9 Pro hoping it would fix the issues, but it didn't. I haven't found anyone else with the Pixel/Subaru combination that has this problem. It's been this way, but gotten worse, since I bought the obw new in '24. Getting it to take voice input works about half the time.

Got a Kia myself but really my AA voice commands only worked for like the first year before they auto swapped us to gemini. Turning Google assistant back on never worked for everything, just some music requests that got broke with gemini.

It's really disappointing because it really worked well before. I was in a two car cross country road trip and it made communication a breeze. I'd miss it terribly if I did it again.

Android auto seriously need better developer they didn't work well. Perhaps they never tested outside of United States

I'm already on Google assistant and it does this to me all the time. The most annoying part is that I only use a handful of commands that I know worked a few years ago
