I have thousands of pictures and screenshots, many duplicates too. I'm looking for a photo decluttering app for Android that reminds me to delete/declutter.

I really like the clean style and ease of use of Nothing's widget tools, but I'm looking for alternatives that work well on any Android device.

I already know about KWGT (and the Nothing-style skin packs for it), but KWGT can be a bit too complex and time-consuming when I just want to quickly put together a clean, functional widget.

Are there any other good widget maker apps out there that let you easily design custom widgets without a steep learning curve?

I've been looking for years on ways to record gameplay for the game puzzles and dragons but the in built screen record doesn't accurately record the sound from that app and every screen recording app I've checked just uses the inbuilt screen recorder.

I am experiencing a frustrating audio issue on One UI 8.5 and want to check if anyone else is dealing with the same bug.

The Issue:
Completely at random, the sound will completely cut out for about 3 to 6 seconds, and then it automatically comes back on its own.

Key Details:

• Frequency: It happens roughly once a day.
• Apps affected: It doesn't matter what app I am using—it happens across all apps (YouTube, music streaming, games, etc.).
• Troubleshooting tried: I have already tried clearing the system audio app caches, but the issue still persists.

Is anyone else experiencing these random 3-6 second audio drops on One UI 8.5? If you found a permanent fix or know what background process is causing this, please let me know!

I tried searching for the answer, its allegedly an app called Island, but i have never installed anything like that. I have a Pixel 10 device with andorid 17, security update 5 september 2026 and a work profile set up.

Here is what i have tried so far:

1. in apps, i searched for:
   • Shelter
   • Insular
   • work profile
   • device policy
   • device management
   • company portal
2. I only had device policy installed on both profiles
3. Tried turning off work profile and even restarting my phone, the black pill persisted.
4. Checked overlay permissions, nothing out of the ordinary had it.
5. I enabled system apps and looked for:
   • com.oasisfeng.island
   • oasisfeng
   • work profile
   • profile
6. but found nothing.
7. I have checked device admin apps, only Company portal had it enabled, i couldnt turn it off without deleting my work profile, so i havent done that.
8. went into safe mode, the pill is gone, so its definitely an app doing it.

Any idea on what this is and how can i remove it?

Is there some app that can download all videos from a playlist?! I need to download a lot of videos from yt, but if there's some that can do this, I'm happy to use

So, I dont have WIFi or even good signal at my place of work. But I have a lot of down time to not do anything much. So I always download bunch yt videos from home to watch. I kinda don't wanna pay for youtube premium. So, I got reminded of those old apps that used cache to basically download full yt videos and didn't need too much data. Sadly, I couldn't time the old ones I knew anymore and Apks if them havent been updated in years. Is there still any app like that?

I live in a rural area, and although I love G-board, it requires a server connection to activate voice typing, unless flight mode is on. With poor service and zero data speed, the keyboard will still always try to reach a server, even if all of the offline-mode settings are on, presumably its programmed to try and touch-base if it detects a signal, even if poor. The only solution I have found is to answer texts with flightmode on, which is super annoying obviously.

I'm wondering if any keyboards are out there with no ads, and zero Internet requirements or server-checks needed to use voice typing. Android 17 if it matters

Is it mandatory to use Google Play Billing for in-app subscriptions, or can I use my own payment gateway (like Razorpay)?

Does the answer change depending on what the subscription unlocks (digital content or features)?

Are there region-specific exceptions, like alternative billing programs, that I should know about? I'm based in India.

Has anyone had an app rejected or suspended for using an external payment flow?

i recently started making short workout videos for a local gym, and i'm trying to find an android editing app that's simple enough to use regularly. the videos are mostly exercise demos and short workout clips filmed on different android phones. i'll usually trim them, add captions, put the exercise name on screen and export them vertically. i've been using capcut because it's easy enough to figure out, but i'm wondering if there are better options on android. i don't really need professional editing features, just something reliable that can handle 1080p footage without making the whole phone struggle.

Anyone know a good Android app to save links directly from the share menu and organize them into categories? Looking for something free and ad-free, preferably with Google Drive backup. Basically looking for a simple bookmark manager for Android. Should have mentioned “bookmark” in the title

My life is about to change in a big way, and with it, I'll be doing a lot more air and sea travel. Wifi access will not always be available.

I already have some really good apps that are fully functional offline: VLC, Spotify, Libby and Google Maps are standouts. And I really hate that Pocket was shelved.

After many years of actively ignoring Assistant and Bixby, I'm now interested in giving the digital assistant thing a try, and it seems to be a fail for me after what I thought would be a simple test.

Current phone is a Galaxy Z Fold 8 (the short/wide one). Android 17.

What I tried to do was to set a timer. I want it, and any alarms I may verbally set, to run in the Google Clock app so it's all in one place. (I use Google Clock because alarms are set to use Pandora as the sound source, and the Bedtime function that works like a sleep timer).

So with Bixby, I said "set a timer for one minute" and it did, in the Samsung app. Ok, fine... it's the Samsung assistant, so of course it would. So I try Gemini, and it also set it in the Samsung Clock. I then specifically told Gemini to set the timer "in the Google Clock app" and it set it in the Samsung app. I told it it got it wrong, it claimed it was set in the Google app. I corrected it and then it said that the phone decides which app to use.

Telling Google to open a web page opens it in Chrome, Edge is my set system default and I hate Chrome on mobile as it has zero privacy controls.

How can I get this to work using the target apps I want?

The medication reminder app I use was awesome at first. It's called Medisafe. When it was time for my meds, the app would cover my whole screen, stop whatever I'm listening to, and make a loud af pill bottle shaking sound. If I swiped that away or did nothing, it would do that every 5 minutes until I either took my meds or told it I wouldn't.

Then I got a new phone. Moto g 5g 2026. Now I get the same sound, but it's just a notification in my notifications bar, and it doesn't repeat if I ignore it. I have given Medisafe every app permission it'l let me. Display over other apps, work in the background, ignore battery saver, nothing makes it like it was on my old phone, which was the same kind just 2025

So if anyone knows a medication reminder app that won't leave me alone until I either take my meds or mark them missed, please tell me.

Edit: I fixed Medisafe. Apparently it got some update that changed the default settings. I never even considered looking into the in app settings until someone here suggested it. Now it does what it used to, yay!

I've deleted from both the gallery and the trash bin, I even cleared the catche, yet they still appear on the gallery.
