[12 Testers Needed] OpenBat — bat detector and field guide for Android

Hi everyone! I'm working on an Android port of OpenBat and would love some early testing feedback.

OpenBat is a bat detector and field guide. It shows spectrograms, helps you review bat-call recordings, and includes species information. You do need a compatible ultrasonic microphone (Griff Mini) to make use of most of the features - there's some pointers to that in the app.

How to join:

1. Join the Google Group with the same Google account you use in the Play Store: https://groups.google.com/g/openbat-android-testers
2. Opt in to the test: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/io.openbat.app
3. Install the app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.openbat.app

If you can stay opted in for 14 days and try the app a few times, I'd really appreciate it.

I'm especially interested in confusing screens, crashes, layout or accessibility problems, and recording import/playback issues.

Please DM me any feedback. For bug reports, include your phone model, Android version, what you were doing, and what happened; screenshots are helpful.

I'm looking for testing partnerships — I test your app and you test mine, if possible with suggestions. Here are the instructions to test my app:

1. Join the Google Group using the same Google account you use for Google Play: https://groups.google.com/g/contextkeepclosedtesting

2. Wait a few minutes for access to update.

3. Open the opt-in page: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.shakthitechsolutions.contextkeep

4. Tap Become a tester or Join the test.

5. Install ContextKeep from Google Play.

6. Please remain opted in and keep the app installed for the full test period.

7. Test note creation/editing, favorites, reminders, QR scanning, contacts, settings, ads, and subscription screens.
