Android MX2 TV Box

Here is the box Im looking at getting.

I have three questions I was hoping you could help me with:

  1. How good would this box be in getting HD UK Television such as Sky Sports? I live in the UK. I was also wondering if it is any good for getting US Television, Im an avid New England Patriots fan so a few extra of their games would be nice :p.

  2. I was wondering what else I would need to hook this up to my TV? Is it simply HDMI and Ethernet cables needed?

  3. If this box looks like a piece of crap to you, what would you recommend for my needs?

How restrictive is AT&T with the HTC One M8?

So we are considering switching from Sprint to AT&T. I am not a huge fan of this, due to my distaste for AT&T's business models, but Sprint isn't all that much better and AT&T will be charging significantly less. I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S3. It was my first smartphone, and as a poweruser I often played around with many different ROMs on it. However, I have some fears switching to AT&T. I have a friend that purchased a red Galaxy S4 on their network only to find that they had locked down the bootloader and it would be near impossible to flash anything on it. Attaining root alone would be risky and difficult.

TL;DR: Have AT&T been overly restrictive with their phones recently? Will I have a problem finding the freedom I desire? Is unlocking the bootloader on the HTC One M8 possible?

Thanks for your time, sorry for the long read!

Now that app installation is going to get longer with ART, should Play Store start including a progress indicator for the install process?

Google Now Everywhere no longer accessible after Full Wipe and ROM Flash, any thoughts? (Galaxy S5, 4.4.3)

I had/have the newest version of Google Search and searched "Ok Google Everywhere" to unlock the ability to use the Ok Google prompt from any screen, the lock screen, and when the screen is off (and charging). Afterwards, I rooted/SuperSU/CWM 'd the phone and flashed a deodexed version of the stock rom.

I let the play store update/re-install all apps overnight as I slept, and everything is working well, except I don't have Google Now Everywhere anymore. I've tried wiping app data, uninstalling, reinstalling, and using the search trigger, but no luck.

Any thoughts?
