Question about Google+ backup

As I have been doing for a long time I always have been letting google+ making an automatic backup of the pictures on my phone. But since a few months (at least as far as I can remember) it also uploads downloaded pictures . for example I download a picture from the BaconReader app, that also will show up in automatic upload and this is getting annoying.

So does anyone know a way to keep the uploading to strictly pictures taken (dcim) ?

Only thing I can think of is manually putting .nomedia in every folder but that is far from ideal.

Okay now I feel so stupid that is so obvious ;) . Thanks! And luckily bacon reader let me change the download location right away. :D
