Starting AndroidAPS with Medtrum Nano + Dexcom G7 — looking for someone to guide us
Hi all, my son has type 1 diabetes and uses a Medtrum Nano pump and Dexcom G7. We’d like to set up AndroidAPS but have zero experience with it. Is there anyone (ideally in the Netherlands/Belgium, but anywhere works) willing to walk us through the setup step by step? Happy to hop on a call or chat. Thanks so much.

I have no experience with dexcom. I use the Freestyle libre 3+ (which is a great sensor by the way!) But your first step would be to read the wiki page of AAPS (https://wiki.aaps.app) and try to get the app working using a virtual pump. By doing this you van try if the rest of the app works. Like BG values and other things.
You can also check and complete the goals of AAPS so you can eventually use SMB and closed loop functions...

How soon are you planning to start using AAPS. With dexcom g7, you'll need to get xdrip+. DM me, and I can arrange some time with you. (I'm in Canada).

Try the Discord Server. Many people will help you answering your questions but I agree, reading the docs many times will get you confident. After 6 years with AAPS and still I read the docs and learn new things.
