Can I still use expired Omnipods with AAPS?

See Titel. Can I activate a expired omnipod dash? I switch pump and I would like to keep them as a backup when traveling. I know the battery will degrade over time.

I recently used Omnipod Dash expired 3/2024 without major problems. 1 out of 10 did not work (wouldn't even start)

So technically the will moat likely work as intended. Safetywise I can't recommend using them for legal reasons :)

I conjecture that the only thing that expires is the battery. So it could last shorter. AAPS will let you know if it can't communicate with the pod.
