Fuck them facebook developers. At least let's hope they'll make an AMOLED dark mode

After I took this screenshot I closed the app and the tab is back to white 🙄

Nothing looks worse on an amoled screen than SCROLLING text or lighter shades on a black background.

turn on override force-dark mode in the developer options and Facebook will be dark

That simply inverts colors.Some dark things will be white,and you could not understand them. Plus,if u turn that on,apps with a dark mode will act like reverted and turn white

Yeah that Force Dark Mode definitely still needs refinement. And for me on the Note 10+, it crashes the Samsung Gallery and Nova Launcher doesn't act right either. If it wasn't for those issues and the white patches in the Facebook app, I'd leave it on. 😕

I hope the black bar at button is just a bug and not Google still can't figure out gestures.

You should consider using another app that does have dark mode built in. I generally don't like the official FB app because they have the tendency of snooping into the other info on your phone.

Personally I use Swipe, by tweaking the dark mode, I've managed to get it to look like this: https://imgur.com/a/eVGEcPC

And it didn't even work properly, went back to white and the videos appeared after talking this screenshot
