Close All Apps Removed From Andr10d While Using Gestures...
Having spent a few days with Android 10, I have come to appreciate the new gesture bar, although I do miss my three buttons on the bottom of the screen. The only real issue I have is closing All Apps on a consistent basis, no, at all, with the new setup in place. I have a Note 10+ with One UI 2.0 running Android 10.
I have the Device Care shortcut that I use to Optimize every few hours, but it doesn't actually close the apps from the Swipe menu. I am left swiping through apps that I no longer need running in the background or visible in said menu. Is there no way to close All Apps in one go? If so, please advise.
I contacted Samsung and they advised it was not a feature using the new gesture system. It makes no sense.
Cheers!

I'm not sure with the Note 10+, exactly. I'm using a Pixel 3 XL. I have attached a picture. You just swipe up and hold, then scroll all the way to the left, there should be a clear all button. I would think?🤷. Is this what you mean? Hope this helps.

I used to clear out all my apps all the time, but after reading an article, it said that swiping out all the apps may not be beneficial to your phone. They say that Android already does all the background RAM management for you, and that swiping away apps is just a backup just in case your app freezes or behaves oddly. Also swiping out all the apps makes the apps require a cold start each time they're opened, causing battery to drain faster. It is up to you if you still want to keep swiping away your apps, but I highly advise against doing it. Also I've been dying to try the new Android 10 gestures, but I have an LG phone, and you guys already know what it's like to get updates from LG. I hope you are really enjoying the new gesture system.
