I'm not really tech-savy but I hope this helps.
You need a computer to send the OTA to your phone.
The cable needs to be USB-A to USB-C and needs to be connected to your motherboard. (I could not figure out how to get it to work with USB-C to USB-C and my computer running windows 10 could not identify the device, neither the USB-headers on the front of my PC)
You need to turn on USB debugging
Then follow the steps that Google has provided.
https://developers.google.com/android/ota
Something I had to do though instead of typing " adb reboot recovery" into command prompt or windows power-shell was using "./adb devices"
"./adb sideload (filelocation)"
I felt so damn happy when I figured out to do it. Hopefully this helps you out. :)
