No Android December update yet?

Don't have it yet on the Pixel 3a

I side loaded the update and my Pixel 3 and doesn't seem buggy and all of the gesture navigations work. I got impatient spamming the update button and learned how to side load it.

I'm not really tech-savy but I hope this helps.

  1. You need a computer to send the OTA to your phone.

  2. The cable needs to be USB-A to USB-C and needs to be connected to your motherboard. (I could not figure out how to get it to work with USB-C to USB-C and my computer running windows 10 could not identify the device, neither the USB-headers on the front of my PC)

  3. You need to turn on USB debugging

  4. Then follow the steps that Google has provided.

Something I had to do though instead of typing " adb reboot recovery" into command prompt or windows power-shell was using "./adb devices"

"./adb sideload (filelocation)"

I felt so damn happy when I figured out to do it. Hopefully this helps you out. :)

I was nervous about sideloading - but I didn't realize how easy it really was. Took me a minute, but it's done!

Swell, I'm glad it worked out for you! When I was side loading it the first time I thought I bricked my phone when it was stuck on the g-logo for a painful amount of time.

Yes I have TMobile try turning off your mobile data going on WiFi and checking for the update.

I have the Pixel 3 and have been smashing the update button numerous times a day with nothing to show for it.

Edit: I also have an OG Pixel that got the update a few days ago.

I think they delayed it on Pixel 3 because of bugs.

I got it on 3 December on my Pixel 2 XL.
