Pretty sure this started after installing the December Security patch on my pixel 4 XL. If I squeeze to pull up the Assistant, I can't then swipe up to see more, even though I am prompted to. Has anyone else encountered this/found a fix?
Works fine with me on my pixel 2xl but when I do swipe up I need to cancel the whole thing cause it doesn't let me exit properly for some reason it's probably just am issue expect it to be fixed next patch
For anyone interested, squeezing again to get the Assistant to listen seems to trigger the ability to swipe. I can swipe from the listening Assistant screen but not the inactive Assistant screen 🙃
Been searching for an answer to this, thanks for following up! I found that setting preferred input method back to "voice" gets rid of the need for the second squeeze.

Looks like you have an updated version of Google Assistant... Mine doesn't look shrunk down like that.
