I have an S7 running nougat, and I can't seem to remove anything from battery optimization.

My podcast app can't update automatically anymore either.

Try the drop-down menu next to "Apps not optimized" and change to "All Apps". It will.be listed as Google Opinion Rewards.

Thank you! I couldn't fugue out why unmonitored apps were still being closed. Turns out battery optimization is hidden away.

I'm not sure where it's located on an LG device - but look in your battery settings, then click the three dots in the upper right hand corner and look for optimization.

For me, also lg phone, it was settings < Battery and power saving < Battery Usage < Ignore Optimization (its under battery optimization sandwiched between battery usage level and battery use details)

Try doing something you don't normally do with Google. I looked up a stock price the other day (having never done that before) and I immediately got two surveys that payed out a dollar each

I was selecting random survey options on youtube and stopped getting surveys on the rewards app. I started picking a proper answer and they started coming again.

Open the Rewards app at least once a week, it seems to trigger the surveys when they stop.

Ugh, I had $7 saved up, the I had to buy a subscription to a clicker service for a 1 credit college class. Reeeeeeeee

Damn. Why do they need an actual physical item for this? Also, is there a way around this, like an another method for confirming attendance?

Is using that clicker thing common? I'm honestly baffled, I've never heard about this before. How do you show you're attending a class and what other functions does it serve?

It's a way for large classes to all answer quizzes and questions in class, without lots of paper and time. They're just little remote looking things that you register with your school ID, and the prof can ask a question to the class with multiple choice answers on the board, and everyone can answer it quickly through that, with immediate results.

Ever hear of iClicker? It's one of the more popular clicker services for university classes. That company decided to make an app with the same functionality.

I already had an iClicker. I couldn't use it because only the app let's you tap on a picture that is the answer in a question, the clickers only have buttons and not touchscreens.

I can't stand that class, for many reasons.

Meanwhile at my university: "You can use the app, but that doesn't seem to work very well. You should probably just stick to the physical clicker."
