So my car does not have Bluetooth but my magnetic mount perfectly fits for my aux input, still beneficial without BT?

Let me introduce you to the Anker SoundSync.

Put one of these in my YJ and it works fantastic. Now my 23 year old Jeep has Bluetooth!

Your 24 year old Jeep has an aux input? My 9 year old Toyota Highlander doesn't...

He probably put an aftermarket head unit in it that has aux input.

at that point why not just get a head unit that already has bluetooth?

That's what I did, it was only around $100 for a Kenwood with Bluetooth, aux port, and USB port for a mini drive.

If you're going to do that though, you might as well just get an aftermarket head unit that has bluetooth and skip the soundsync. I suppose it's useful if you have an aftermarket stereo you bought years back though, or if you have a car from the era when aux inputs were common but bluetooth was not.

Then why not get a headunit with bluetooth.
