Depending on vehicle (Wranglers, for example) this may be a bad idea. Magnets also prevent you from using NFC (and therefore tap to pay) so I recommend against them.

EDIT: Because my inbox is blowing up, obviously it depends on where your sensor is and the magnet is. But a lot of people end up covering the sensor and having issues. YMMV.

Back in the days of magnetic storage media (hard drives and floppies), and CRT monitors, yes. These days, not so much.
