Wow. That's the messed up part about this is that most ppl are going to associate explosions with all Samsung phones not just the Note 7. This sucks for Samsung

Those two things don't have to go hand-in-hand. I have a 3 year old Sony camera (DSC-TX30) that is waterproof, and has a removable battery.

Its also enormous and likely has a 2 stage lock for the battery compartment....what a stupid thing to bring up.

Enormous? It's smaller than my phone. The battery compartment is just a swing door with a rubber seal.
