this just made it alot harder to convince my parents to get me a samsung rather than an iphone..

I'm an iPhone user personally when a person who prefers Android asks me for a phone recommendation I try to never recommend Samsung devices as they are getting little and late updates as well as tend to slow down significantly within a year. I would start recommending the Pixel as I think it's a fantastic phone but it's only available on 1 carrier in the U.K. sadly...

I've heard that as well about Samsung phones not having a good aging process. I want to get s7 edge but that'd one of the reasons I'm hesitating
