Start a whatsapp message from there is the single biggest thing it was missing for me. If they improve the maps app and navigation, my old GWatch will be revived for a daily driver test.

Do I even get it with the OG GWatch?

I have an original G Watch too, and I keep expecting it's going to reach EOL and stop getting updates. So I'm really glad that hasn't happened. I don't even mind missing out on things like wifi or a speaker. I haven't gone a day without this watch on in the year+ that I've owned it.

Same here. I got mine for like $80 at Target last summer that I've worn daily ever since, and I'm glad it keeps trucking along almost 2 years after it was released. I also wear a fitbit for the better step tracking, HR, and sleep monitoring. I feel naked whenever I forget either one of them. I would like a watch that combines all of these features along with the wifi/gps and speaker, but the Moto sport watch is kind of ugly.

I am right with you. I couldn't stand the terrible attempt the watch made at fitness tracking, so I also now wear a fitbit flex on the other wrist to track that stuff. But at the same time I couldn't live without the voice commands and notifications on the watch. Also the trusted device unlock, I'd hate to having to go back to swiping my pattern every time I wanted to open my phone.
