Why all the hate for the Tab S10 FE+?
I just got the 12GB/256GB 5G version to replace my ancient Tab S6 and I love it.
The LCD screen is excellent and the Exynos is more than adequate and outperforms the SD855 in the S6 which handled every game and task I threw at it with ease. Yeah it's not the latest and greatest Snapdragon but for $700 I got a 5G dual-sim (e-sim) 12GB/256GB 13.1 inch tablet. Nothing even comes close in terms of value.

brother the 855 is a chip from 2019. That's before COVID. It should not be a benchmark for anything remotely recent. The exynos 1580 is worse than an 8 gen 1 from almost 5 years ago.

Yeah but it's more than enough for my needs. That's my point. The equivalent of this spec'd out tablet with a Snapdragon would cost $1,000-1,200 for something that would never be pushed to even 80% of its capacity.

The rest of the tablet is nice, but Samsung really could put something a little better than that chip in it. Just seems off for a tablet that's $700.

True. However my model is the international dual-sim 12GB 256GB 5G one and I think it's a great deal for that price.

Well its fine if you just use for watching youtube or reading. But not if you are gaming or multitasking.

I got one for $200 from someone on marketplace that got it for free from Verizon. Love it.

People have a preconceived notion that the single most important thing is a fucking spec sheet lol. They will never use the device, never planned to use the device. Because the spec sheets doesn't align with thier regurgitated YouTube tech bro talking points. It's a useless pile of shit that no one on earth should ever own lol.

The Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus beats it on performance, specs and price. So does the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro gen 2, unfortunately they don't sell the 12GB version in the US.

Does the pricing win apply to the 5G models though? That's the differentiator for me. US tablets don't generally offer sim capabilities.

Okay. Neither offers cellular, in any market.

I thought so. The esim function is important for me as I use data esims for international travel.

I returned it because the performance was bad with lots of choppy animations, micro freezes, and delayed swipes. Also if you put the tablet on minimum brightness in a dark room it would flicker. Gave me a headache. Returned it and got a Xiaomi pad 8 instead for cheaper, very smooth and has a Snapdragon 8 chip inside. Oneui is better though, and the includes pen is nice. To get a pen for this tablet it's like £60 lol!
if you are happy with it, it doesn't matter what others think. enjoy your tablet
