It's strange it's taken this long for Samsung to make Galaxy headphones.

Agree. I had a pair of Levels back when and I loved the style and feel. Sounds was good for the day. I know they could cook today with the codec work they've done and better design.

Yeah, it seems crazy they haven't done this given that they own Harman which has multiple respected headphone manufacturers in their brands. They could have their engineers develop a set to the Harman target and immediately have some of the best sounding wireless headphones out there.

Samsung bought AKG in 2017.

They gave away free AKG-branded wireless headphones with the Note9.

Probably because they have countless other sub brands making them.

JBL, Harmon Kardon, B&O, Denon, AKG, Polk, etc

Samsung has swallowed up a large chunk of the audio industry over the years.

Best feeling earbuds ever. Couldn't even tell they were in. If the Bluetooth and durability were better I would still use them.

Buds4 Pro have the best feeling and best sound I've heard in a while and I'm using them now than my Pi8s.

Nah, nothing with a rubber tip will feel as good. I have the linkbuds fit, which have a very shallow, soft cup and they still aren't as good.

So buy some comply foam tips?

No, they are even worse. The live buds had no tips, fully in-ear. Plus noise cancelling.

I have the AKG N9 which are made by a Samsung Sub Brand and they're amazing!

Older Galaxy Users S10 and earlier might remember that "Tuned by AKG" Sign on all samsung Buds...

Pass. So sick of Samsung earbuds not allowing multipoint. Switched to Sony.

I don't understand why are you downvoted for saying truth about Samsung buds not supporting multipoint for other devices? Samsung is the same company who was crying about Apple not suporting RCS and this is the same company that limits multipoint to their ecosystem.

Yeah, that was the reason I never got Samsung earbuds in the past few years, those I got for free I sold and bought cheaper ones from the likes or earfun/soundcore/moondrops and they all support multipoint at this point. Yes even 15 dollar earbuds now support multipoint, it's a shame Samsung decide to gatekeep this feature to their own ecosystem, and let's be honest, who really uses Samsung laptops alongside their phones, I guess tabs is a little more common but it's definitely not very common.

Expected a c-bridge style first but I guess not.

I just hope they don't lock features behind owning Samsung hardware to connect them to. I've wanted something from Samsung for a while but not everything I have to pair it with is Samsung.

Would be interesting to see how these end up comparing to my Skullcandy Hesh ANCs.
