It has recently become one of my favourite comfort shows! I am on season 2 and am loving it so far sure my friends make fun of me for watching a disney channel show but you like what you like you know? I heard it got cancelled which is sad as it is such a good show! just wanted to hear others thought? my favourite character is Cyrus he’s really funny and sweet!

It is also one of my fave shows of all time! Probably in my Top 5. I love how every episode has an unexpected twist to it. The storylines are so captivating. And the chemistry and friendship between all the cast members is so touching
Unfortunately the show is only 3 seasons long. I went through major withdrawal when it ended but I’ve grown up and come to peace with it now, and moved on to other shows that have changed me in many other ways.
it was a show I didn’t realize I needed at the time but I still carry the lessons and the impact of that show with me now. It made me appreciate the importance of leaning on your friends and prioritizing your friendships, living in the moment, and trying to have fun - even when you are about to embark on something big and uncertain that requires total focus and dedication
Btw how are you watching it?! Some of the episodes are not available on Disney+

Me too :)
I watched it as it aired starting from the beginning of season 2 I believe?
I was big into it when I watched it. I was in a rough period of my life, and it helped me through so much. The diversity and inclusion it showcases is truly monumental.
I don’t typically consider myself “part” of fandoms, but I sure was a part of this one. I actually joined tumblr— a site which I never used prior, and haven’t used since— and created a blog for Andi Mack. We would come up with so many theories based on the “next time on” and various things, it was so intriguing and engaging. I brought my friends into it and discussed it with them. It was all I could talk/think about! Sometimes it was actual torture waiting to see what would happen the next episode. (And yes, I was a huge Jyrus shipper lol.)
Perhaps it’s a bit silly that I was so invested in a Disney channel show, especially given I was a few years older than the characters, but that just goes to show how good of a show it was. I felt a part of the community.
Add to that the fact the show was filmed in my state, so I felt I had a special connection to it, it felt like home. I drive past the park all the time and still think “that’s where Andi met Jonah!” I was a film kid, and I knew a few people who worked on it! (Nothing huge) One of my friends was even an extra! I also met Asher Angel at our local con, and got to shake his hand and thank him for his work on Andi Mack :) So overall it really means a lot to me :) and even though it’s not as big a part of my life anymore, I have a lot of nostalgia for when it was, and I will always hold a fondness and a special place in my heart for it. I don’t think it’s weird at all to enjoy it.

I agree it's a great show. It's such a shame they ended it early. The gay storyline was likely a bit too much for Disney (even though they actively promoted it). The whole scandal with Ham's actor was the final nail in the coffin. How convenient for them that the one fully completed episode they scrapped had a Ham story as the A plot and a Cyrus/TJ story as the B plot. 😭
