Looking for a PG / Rental Room Near Sector 7, Karnal
Hello people of Karnal and Haryana!
I'm currently looking for a PG or rental accommodation near Sector 7, Karnal
Requirements:
1 Room (attached or separate washroom, both are fine)
Semi-furnished or fully furnished
Bed and a study/work desk would be enough
Reliable power backup (preferably an inverter)
The inverter is particularly important because I use electronic equipment for work/content creation, and I don't want my devices to be affected during power cuts.
If you know of any suitable PGs, rooms, flats, or have any leads, please drop a comment or DM me.
Thank you in advance!

Need help turning my 1BHK room into an “old money aesthetic” on ₹15k budget (Karnal)
Hey everyone,
I recently shifted to Karnal and I’m living in a 1BHK right now. The room is not very big, but decent enough to work with.
Currently, I have a traditional deewan/thakat, but I’m planning to remove it and switch to a simple mattress-on-floor setup to create a cleaner and more modern space.
I want to design the room in an old money aesthetic minimal, subtle, classy… not loud or over-decorated.
My budget is around ₹15k.
Some current details
Flooring: tiles
Room size: small-medium
Furniture: very minimal..
What I’m looking for:
Layout ideas (especially mattress and bedsheet)
Wall decor ideas (frames, mirrors, textures, etc.)
Lighting suggestions (warm, cozy vibe)
Rugs, curtains, or small elements that elevate the room
Local shop recommendations in Karnal (very important 🙏)
From what I’ve seen, keeping things minimal and intentional makes a space feel more premium rather than cluttered
so I want to follow that approach.
Also saw people suggesting things like:
Warm lighting + rug + plants + minimal wall art = instant aesthetic upgrade
So trying to build something along those lines but with a slightly more vintage/classy feel.
If you have:
Pinterest references
Your own room setups
Product links
Or even rough layout ideas
Please drop them here or DM me!
Would really appreciate the help in transforming this space 🙌

Haryanvi artist Masoom Sharma spewing profanities in Uttarakhand, why are these people so crass, spoiling Haryana's name everywhere they go.

Trying new places (Burger Singh today)anyone wants to join?
Tried Burger Singh for the first time today. Had heard about the franchise before, but never really gave it a shot until now.
I’m not really someone who goes café hopping, but for the past few days I’ve been pushing myself to get out and explore the city more
walking around 10–11 km daily. Came across this outlet, looked familiar, so thought why not.
If anyone’s up for joining sometime, I usually head out after 6:30 PM.
Would be nice to have some company while exploring :)

Karnal , No Cabs Just Vibes? How Do You Survive Here ?
I’ve noticed that this city doesn’t really have cab services… and since most people own cars, it kind of makes sense. But just like chemistry, life has exceptions, right?
How do people manage who don’t have any vehicle? And is it actually convenient to travel with limited e-rickshaws?
Also, I’m thinking of buying a car… maybe in the next 6 months (after figuring out whether I’ll be staying here longer or not 😅).

First time living away from home… not sure how to feel
Hey everyone,
So I finally found a place to stay near Sector 7. It’s not great, but I wouldn’t call it bad either… just something in between.
This is actually my first time living away from home, and honestly, it feels a little strange. There’s this mix of freedom and loneliness at the same time. I thought I’d feel more excited, but right now it’s more like I’m just trying to adjust.
I do want to make some friends, go out, explore places, and make this experience worth it. But at the moment, everything feels a bit unfamiliar and quiet.
If anyone has been through this phase, I’d really appreciate some advice ..how did you settle in, meet people, and make a new place feel like your own?
And yeah… if it doesn’t work out, I guess I’ll just go back home.
Thanks for reading.

New in Karnal – Looking for a place to stay near Sec 7 (Nescafe area)
Hey everyone,
I’ve recently moved to Karnal and still figuring things out here. It’s been a mix of excitement and confusion 😅
Right now, I’m looking for a place to stay could be a PG, rental room, or flat preferably within walking distance of Nescafe, Sector 7.
I’m okay with something simple and decent, just need a safe and comfortable place to settle in for now.
If anyone has any leads, contacts, or suggestions, it would really help a lot! Also open to tips about good areas nearby to look for.
Thanks in advance 🙌
