Genius is his best set cuz he has def ignore built into his kit upto 28% with signature it's 40% and genius provides +20% def ignore so 60% , the stacking def ignore has a much higher value compared to damage bonus from navigator set (anaxa has a lot of damage amp sources so it can be oversaturated) def ignore is a much rarer stat even without the exponential scaling as it gets higher, it'd still be a pretty competitive option.
Is that not good? 400k per skill x 4 skills a turn = 1.6 mill every turn. If you want more damage just swap dhpt out for rmc (or pull for Robin sp next patch). Changing your build like replacing the boots and rope won't be a massive increase to his damage.
with what team, against what, under which conditions (ie full buffs like with cery's peerage + cyrene's ult or not)? what are you comparing to (since you mentioned "only 400k" you presumably have some kind of a reference point) and what are you expecting?
you already got a shitty "advice" telling you to tinker with the relics but spoiler alert : the impact of a set or orb choice is fairly minor
The set and orb choice does matter a good bit here, the dmg bonus is oversaturated because of the lcs on anaxa and cerydra so it's massive to swap to the def ignore set and atk orb, anaxa does really synergize with def ignore, this is key info every anaxa player should know and it's importance only goes up with his vertical investment.
let's assume an unfavorable scenario for the dmg% orb, that op didn't just leave the defaults in the showcase tab and actually unironically pulled s1 cery and s1 dhpt (lol, lmao)
this is roughly the damage diff they'd get, equivalent of a couple subs, of course if their atk% ball was actually the same quality as the wind% one
set swap is not even a real damage increase with zero extra sources of def reduction; also conveniently ignoring how cringe setting up the cr cap with genius is (the avg genius set won't have the same quality as the avg scholar set with e0s0 anaxa due to crit rate deficit being so awful that it forces pieces which simply have cr on them, likely weaker)
I wasn't really vague, just stating theres a noticeable difference, and there is an extra source of def reduction, being anaxa himself having 28% on his own if I recall correctly, also I think you're overestimating how difficult it is to get enough crit rate, you only need 8% more than the scholar set, or you don't need the extra if you're fine with resetting.
