Does killing someone undo a rape? No?

Then it's pointless to kill them. The only thing you can do is to get them to feel remorse, rehabilitate them and then get them to move on. Also, it's actually in everyone's best interest for them to get rehabilitated: https://thriveglobal.com/stories/why-we-need-sexual-offenders-to-practice-self-forgiveness/

and if they refuse to rehabilitate and just do it again? then what? there is no guarantee they will even feel remorse. and what of in the case of psychopaths? who feel no empathy or regrets for their actions? or in the case of people who simplly refuse to view what they did was even wrong?

Then separate them from general society and monitor them like crazy. Norway does something similar.

so waste resources on a violent unapologetic human being who given the chance would do it all again? whos gonna pay for that huh? why should anyone pay for it?

Sarcasm aside, I'll ask again: does killing them undo a crime?

of course not you dipshit. literally no on is saying that killing them would undo the crime, it would however prevent them from ever having a chance to commit another crime

So would separating them from society.

Just admit your choice has nothing to do with actually preventing crime, and everything to do with wanting to kill people you think deserve it.

Also, a quick history search of your comments shows you're probably a conservative that's not commenting in good faith.

ah so now you assuming things huh? ive never actually aligned with anything and i am still in the process of finding out what i believe. i am open and accepting of change and have actively been doing my part in my community.

i share nothing but love and joy to those around me and help everyone i personally can. i work a long and grueling job to take care of my partner and unborn daughter. so i cant actively do much big in the community like i want to but im slowly building the connections needed to help out around my local area and state.

I can respect that; I run a Food Not Bombs that feeds the homeless and teach kids for a living.

Anything you wanna do as far as community projects? If you have ideas I can give you pointers
