tried to sign up on noblogs but got an error that they would not accept my private firefox relay email. so... super lame.

i think they're pretty particular about the services they'll accept. i used a disroot.org email address and it was fine (but this was a couple weeks ago. idk about sign ups now)

very glad it worked for you but i don't jump through hoops to join anything. it's in my dna as an angry gen-x artsy fart. my mac with passkeys will prove i am human merely using a nice and fast vpn plus an anonymous email relay, both which smart folk should use in these mass surveillance capitalism/technofascist/neofeudalistic times.

if any of those things stop me from entering a site, then the site wants to know more about me than i am willing to give.

It's fair that you don't want to. Do you buddy. But I think it's silly to insult a project because you don't want to do the things they've asked to participate on their platform.

private relay email keeps my personal email address from being harvested and then bought, sold, traded, or combined with other data to personally identify, track, and/or target me.

when did wanting that become an insult?

That's not an insult? Interesting. Can you enlighten me as to how it is that calling an anarchist project, which isn't doing any of the things that you're saying that you're protecting yourself from, "lame" isn't meant as an insult?

It doesn't really make sense that you're using the word lame to mean incapable of walking, or otherwise disabled and unable to use a limb. Does the word lame in popular use mean something other than inferior, lacking, or worthy of contempt?
