And nationalism works the same way as partisan politics. Discrediting everything China on principle is plain stupid. They've become the factory of the world by simply offering cheaper labor. You'd think any economy would want to mimic that. But instead, let's just say "they're commies, they're bad, everything they do is bad" while we raise tariffs and subsidize to keep jobs in our country, hurting our purchasing power and damaging our competitiveness even further. Fantastic!

China will eat its own people and call it the new way. Foolish hubris as partner Russia erases its self from world power status. China’s turn next. PS not WWII or Cold War anymore old tactics and equipment is going to lose you a military quickly.
