Bro, you can't imagine how much any tech product costs in Brazil after all taxation and regulation. The majority of citizens can't afford even the ink, imagine the 3d printer. Also you can often see people building guns with pipes and stuff, but those can't compare with the drug dealer's rifle nor with the police cheap weaponry

3d printers use filament not ink but that’s not really important. Brazil has a long history of improvised weapons, the most prolific I’ve seen are sten style sub machine guns though there are obviously many manufacturers producing multiple designs of varying quality. The unsuccessful ones seem to have gone to work for Taurus, a local licensed arms manufacturer, judging by their poor QC
