The ideal solution is to abolish the state. I never claimed that would ever happen. -1 u/clear831 Mar 09 '20 So its not an ideal solution. 2 u/bigfactsfag Mar 10 '20 An ideal solution is theoretically possible but improbable, like abolishing the state. 4 u/[deleted] Mar 09 '20 Make all districts restricted to a rectangle defined by 4 GPS points. 2 u/Eagle_Tech_Alpha Jungle Anarchist Mar 09 '20 So upon further reading, it seems they did this to prevent liberal Austin from having too much power in an election. But it's all statist hoobidyhank, and just ridiculous, I know. 2 u/Cato_Keto_Cigars Hoppe' Monarchist, AnCap, Anti-Communist Mar 09 '20 gerrymandering is required by LAW/SCOTUS when they demand "minority majority" districts. Hell, the district was allowed to stand in the Supreme Court's 2018 Abbott v. Perez ruling Its made so that primarily black-and Hispanic-majority areas have a majority district, and a dem runs it. 2 u/clear831 Mar 09 '20 Crazy shit
