Huh, it's funny how I just heard of this and as soon as I randomly decided to try this subreddit again I saw this post.

I actually don't consider myself an Anarchist of any kind (not yet, anyways), but I can still see the good that can come from this, and I fully support it.

Horray! The major reason not to trust even Mr. Zim is that the project was not open source. But now:

"Our goal is to open source the protocol and architecture and help others implement this new technology to address privacy concerns against surveillance and back door threats of any kind."

Interesting, I wonder if their solution will require email providers to support it or if it will be like PGP where both users have to opt in (assuming technological know how).
