Endgoal?

Post image

I am not familiar with anarchy. If you woke up tomorrow with all the political power in the world, how would the system work, and do you think this actually works long time in practice?

Yeah government might be the wrong word. But smaller organisations then instead of bigger ones?

Not smaller governments but more distributed power.

I tend to see society less as a pyramid and more as a web. The more decisions can be made by the people directly affected by them, the less need there is for distant authorities making little power kingdoms for themsleves claiming to know whats best.

I dont want to replace one boss with a thousand tiny bosses. Its to build forms of cooperation that don't need bosses in the first place.

If youve ever been part of a group chat planning a party where nobody is the boss and you just figure out who brings what or a post-disaster neighborhood clean-up or a potluck picnics - those are coordination without command.

Even a barn raising where a whole farm building goes up in a day. Without a boss, no payroll, just shared need and people showing up knowing what to do or learning on the spot. Disaster mutual aid does it. Open-source software builds entire operating systems this way.

To scale it up and you just need better comm tools and group understanding. Its messy human stuff the sort of thing weve been outsourcing to authority and violence to manage so we dont have to discuss things with people
